Pai Chai HakDang has recently completed the Pai Chai Building with the latest improvements in Seoul having over 12,000 pyung of floor space and is managing Pai Chai University, Pai Chai Junior and High Schools, and Pai Chai Kindergarten. Under God’s protection and thanks to the devoted efforts of all the members, Pai Chai University has transformed itself into an excellent and prestigious university by satisfying both the needs of educational consumers and the demands of the regional community. Through its drive toward a globalized, information-oriented, and region-based institution, Pai Chai University has already secured its prestigious status as one of the top ten private universities in several important fields. This year we are celebrating the 120th anniversary of the foundation of Pai Chai HakDang and are going to share its fruits with all the members of the Pai Chai family and other people. The Pai Chai HakDang Foundation has unfailingly shouldered its allotted charges for Pai Chai University and the completion of the Pai Chai Building will firmly solidify the financial basis for its utmost support to its educational institutions. Pai Chai University now can boast of the highest quality of its educational facilities and programs of all levels. In the full conviction that its time-honored tradition as the cradle of the new learning will enable Pai Chai University to surmount all difficulties, the Board of Trustees and I will do our best to remake Pai Chai University into an excellent university of global standard worthy of its name.
