Pai Chai University is now going through rapid changes to cultivate competent professionals for the 21st century. It is a dynamic and innovative educational institution that seeks to be a premier private university in the central region of Korea. Two buildings of College of Arts and International Center completed recently for the betterment of students' educational environment are well serving both as Pai Chai’s proud cultural space and as Daejeon’s favorite spots. The up-to-date dormitory facilities that can accommodate all students are also to be completed by August this year. We have secured a bridgehead for the internationalization by establishing “The Pai Chai Korean Education Center’s in 10 foreign universities, including Anhui University in China and Islam University in Indonesia. Holding sisterhood relationship with over 100 universities throughout the world, we have brought the framework of the internationalization to perfection. In addition, our successful hosting of the 2005 Asian University Presidents Forum commemorative of the 120th anniversary of the foundation of Pai Chai HakDang is enhancing Pai Chai’s status as the hub of the internationalization. We believe that all of these will serve as the prime movers of the development of our university in the future. Now we are concentrating our efforts on producing well-qualified professionals who are competent in foreign languages, on maximizing our graduating students’ employment, and on getting every student to be benefited by more than one scholarship. We’ll also invite over 1,000 foreign students and professors from many countries all over the world and make our university an international campus vibrant all day and all year round with creative energy and vitality. We'll do our best to remake Pai Chai University into an innovative open space that fully satisfies both all the members of Pai Chai family and the regional and international communities.
