Qualifications
Applicants who have an accredited high school diploma, or who have 12 years' education with evidence of the equivalent in a home country or abroad are eligible for the admission.

(Those who will not be able to submit a high school diploma are advised to consult with us first for your application. And a person with any psychological disease is not allowed to apply)
 
Application Procedure
1) Submitted documentations will be examined by the Institute for Korean Language Education at Pai Chai University
2) Successful applicants will receive a letter of acceptance and the notice of tuition fee payment
3) Based on the immigration regulation, an applicant must send US£¤4,000 to Pai Chai University's designated official bank account
4) After transferring the tuition fee to Pai Chai University, an applicant must fax the Notice of Tuition Fee Payment¡» filled out by the applicants, and the original form should arrive in Pai Chai University at the earliest date
5) Afterwards, Pai Chai University will provide you with the admission package by post mail for student's visa process.
6) With the acceptance package, an applicant must visit either a local Korean Embassy or a consulate to apply for their visa.
7) The student visa will be issued only based on the handed in documentations
¡Ø If the visa application is denied, US£¤4,000 will be remitted to your account only after the applicant sends the Request Form for Tuition Fee Refund to Pai Chai University. In this case, the bank service charge will be an applicant's liability.
8) When the visa is confirmed, an applicant should offer Pai Chai University the arrival information at least 10 days prior to departure from the home country.

¡Ø Usage of US£¤4,000 deposit
US£¤4,000 shall include the first semester's (6 month) Korean Language tuition fee of 2,000,000 Korean Won. The Dorm charge, food, health insurance and other private expenditures can not be made from this transferred money.

After completion of 6-month's Korean Language Courses, an undergraduate or graduate program's tuition fee will be paid with the additional payment to the rest of initially wired money.

 

Admission Requirements

(English documentations are required)
1) An application form
2) A self-introduction form (including the study plan)
3) A copy of passport
4) 4 - passport size photos
5) A graduation diploma of final education (must be notarized)
6) A transcript of academic record of final education (must be notarized)
7) Birth Certification
8) An applicant and hi/her parents' copy of an identification card in the home country
9) A Family Census Registration (Every single family members should be identified)
10) A Certificate of Business registration or enrollment (income specification, contact info must be stated on this - must be notarized)
11) Receipt of Tuition Fee Payment(US£¤4,000)
12) In case an applicant is currently enrolled at an academic institution, an enrollment certificate and academic transcript should be offered- must be notarized)
13) If an applicant finished the final education over 6 months ago, they have to submit a certification of enrollment in a business place and career history to prove their working experience. (Must be notarized)

¡Ø all the endorsed documentations (notarized forms) must be executed either in English or Korean.

¡Ø In order to get a D-4 visa (Language Learning Status), an applicant must send US£¤4,000 to Pai Chai University's designated official bank account according to the immigration law. After transferring the tuition fee to Pai Chai University, an applicant must fax the ¡ºNotice of Tuition Fee Payment¡»filled out by the applicants, and the original form is required to be submitted.


¡Ø US£¤4,000 deposit shall include the first two semester's Korean Language tuition fee of 2,000,000 Korean Won (6 month). The Dorm charge, food, insurance and other private expenditures can not be made from this transferred money. After completion of 6-month's Korean Language Courses, an undergraduate or graduate program's tuition fee will be paid with the additional payment to the rest of initially wired money. If you decided not to continue your education at Pai Chai University, the rest money out of the initial payment of US£¤4,000, after using the first term's program tuition, will be refunded to you.

 
2) Payment Methods
a. Based on the immigration regulation, all accepted candidates are required to submit a deposit of US£¤4,000 to hold a place in the class to Pai Chai University's designated official bank account (Korea Exchange Bank) under an applicant's name for visa process.

b. Upon wiring US£¤4,000 to Pai Chai University's account, please make sure to fax the receipt to the office of International Exchange & Cooperation at Pai Chai University at ¡¸+82-42-520-5780¡¹before sending the original copy by registered mail.

c. If your visa is not confirmed to be issued, a refund of US$4,000 will be made upon receiving the "Request Form for the Tuition Fee Refund" (Some transaction fee will be deducted from the original amount when the money is transferred back to your account)

d. US£¤4,000 deposit shall include the first semester's Korean Language tuition fee of 2,000,000 Korean Won (6 month). The Dorm charge, food, insurance and other private expenditures can not be made from this money.
